Intrathecal Injection of Phenol-Glycerin-Metrizamide as a Treatment of Intractable Spasticity

Abstract

The authors report their experience of intrathecal injection of phenol with Glycerin in Metrizamide as a treatment method of intractable spastictiy. All the patients with intractable spasticity, refractory to antispasmotic medication and Physiotheraphy was treated with above method and took excellent result.
