Abstract

The main site of infection with paragoniums Westermani is the lung, but its larva can invade any sites of the body. The ectopic infected sites of paragonimiasis are brain, liver, peritoneurn, testis, small intestine, skin, retina and muscle. Recently, we found an ectopic omental paragonimiasis herniated into the scrotum from 35 year old male patient who complained scrotal discomfort and was diagnosed as epididymal tumor preoperatively.
