Hysterosalpingographic findings in infertility

Abstract

Four hundred and fifty four cases of H.S.G. in infertitlity were analyzed and following brief results wereobtained. 1. Most frequent age group was 25-29 year old, and those number of patient were 188(41.4%). 2. Mostfrequent abnormal uterine finding was intravasation(133 cases), and malposition (119), irregular margin (104),filling defect(37), and diverticulum (6) in decreasig order. 3. Most frequent abnormal tubal finding wasobstruction (199 cases), and hydrosalpinx(99), diverticulosis(22), intravasation (17), peritubal adhesion(13), andbeaded tube (10) in decreasing order. 4. Negative finding was seen in 155 cases (34.1%) of uterus and in 227 cases(50.0%) of fallopian tubes. 5. Negative finding in both uterus and fallopian tubes was seen only 87 cases (19.2%).
