Abstract

Priapism is the condition of persistent penile erection, most often accompanied by pain and unaccompanied by sexual desire. The most common form is idiopathic priapism in the adult but sickle cell disease in the childhood. Although ice water enema, sedatives and antibiotics were tried to relieve the erection, but all conservative therapy failed. Priapism was treated by creation of fistulas between glans penis and corpora cavernosa and good result was obtained.
