Two Cases of Malignant Melanoma

Abstract

This is two case report of a malignant melanoma. The patient was 58 years old male and tumor was located on left knee joint for 3years. We performermed excision widely on the left lesion site including adjacent healthy skin and on the left inguinal region. The deect was covered with split thickness skin graft. The second case was 57 years old female and the tumor was located on the right inguinal region and on the the proximal end of left femur. Four years previously, the tumor mass on right foot was removed. The tumor recurred on right inguinsl region one year following the surgery. About 5 months previous to admission, the tumor recurred on the left femur. Microscopic examination proved amalignant melanoma. We used Thomson prosthetic replacement with bone cement on the left hip.
