Abstract

Cutaneous malignant melanoma usually develops de novo, but it sometimes arises from preexistent melanocytic nevi including congenital and acquired one. In western societies, malignant melanoma arising from melanocytic nevus is relatively common. However, the Orientals seldom develop malignant melanoma associated with melanocytic nevus. Herein, we report three unusual cases of malignant melanoma which were supposed to be developed from melanocytic nevus.
