Caudate to right lobe ratio of normal liver by computed tomography

Abstract

It has been reported that caudate to right lobe ratio(CRL Ratio) is useful for diagnosis of liver cirrhosis by noninvasive imaging modalities such as CT and ultrasonography. CRL Ratio was measured by CT in 66 Koreans, who have had no evidence of hepatic pathology both clinically and radiologically. The result of the study is asfollows. 1. The mean value of CRL Ratio of 66 healthy Korean liver is 0.45±0.07. 2. There is no statistically significant difference of CRL Ratio between men and women. 3. There is no statistically significant correlation between CRL Ratio and age.
