Abstract

Here we report a case of a pediatric priapism in a 6-year-old boy. He presented with a painless priapism for 7 days after a blunt perineal trauma. The blood gas analysis of the cavernosum indicated a high-flow priapism. An angiogram revealed and characterized the exact site of the arterio-cavernosal fistula and a superselective embolization was done using gelatin sponge pledgets. A complete detumescence was achieved two days after the embolization.
