Angiosarcoma of the Liver: A Case Report

Abstract

We report a case of histopathologically confirmed hepatic angiosarcoma. A 29-year old patient was admitted with fever and palpable tender mass in the right upper abdomen. On ultrasonography, a large, well circumscribed mixed echoic mass was seen in the right lobe of the liver. On CT scan, irregular enhancement was seen mainly in the peripheral portion of the mass ; the central portion was not enhanced.
