A Case of Cutaneous Focal Mucinosis
Abstract
- We report a case of cutaneous focal mucinosis in a 60 year-old male, who had asymptomatic localized small flesh colored papule and nodule on the left side of the neck. The histopathologic finding revealed fibroblastic proliferatior in the dermis and an increased prodact on of hyaluronic acid by these fibroblasts. The lesions were treated by surgical excision.
