Percutaneous Retrieval of a Migrated Surgical Drainage Tube in the Chest Wall with the Nitinol Goose Neck Snare

Abstract

Percutaneous retrieval of extravascular foreign body is rare (1, 2). Its technique is not different from that of an intravascular foreign body. We describe a technique for percutaneous retrieval of a Penrose drainage tube in the chest wall using the nitinol Goose Neck snare.
