A Case Report of Avulsion of the Brachial Plexus

Abstract

A case with avulsion of the brachial plexus following head and neck trauma is discribed. The use of pantopaque myelography, elecrtomyography, axon reflex test, and sensory nerve conduction test as a diagnostic aid is stressed. The mechanism of avulsion of the brachial plexus following injury and its prognosis are discussed.
