A Case of Sjogren's Syndrome

Abstract

A case of Sjogren's syndrome is reported in a 26 years old Korean girl. The chief complaints of this case were photophobia, foreign body sensation and the dryness of the eyes and mouth. The patient showed kerato-conjunctivitis sicca, keratitis filamentosa and polyarthritis. The etiology of this disease is considered due to the auto immune mechanism with other unknown factors. The author tried to treat the case with the methods of the constitutional and local therapy as introduced in the articles. But the effects were only temporary. A brief review of the literatures related with. the etiology and therapy is presented.
