Indomethacin Protects from UVA and UVB Irradiation
Abstract
- The sunlight protecting effect of indomethacin (IM) was compared with topical sun screening agents of sun protecting factor(SPF) 2 and SPF 4, and it was found that IM stood in between SPF 2 and SPF 4. (vehicle of IM) painted skin was 4.8 J/cm and MED skin was 37.5 m J/cm. with UVB of PED painted was compared with topical 2 and SPF 4, and it was MED with UVA of PED with UVB of PED painted skin was 37 5 m J/cm.
