Abstract

Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) continues to have a high mortality and morbidity rate. Improving the clinical outcomes of ICH requires rapid removal of blood. Stereotactic ICH aspiration as soon as possible could effectively reduce intracranial pressure, brain edema, and further neuronal injury, thereby improving the prognosis. Herein, we describe technical issues related to stereotactic ICH evacuation using the Cosman-Roberts-Wells frame.
