Of 217 positive cultures, the different strains of bacteria and bacterial sensitivity to antibiotics are evaluated. 1) Of 217 positive cultures, the following stains of bacteria are identified : staphylococci ;n 85 cases(39.2%) , streptococci in 58 cases(26. 7%) , pneumococci in 52 cases(24. 0% ) and Gram negative organisms in 22 cases (1 0. 1 %). 2) The most sensitive antibiotics to staphylococci, streptococci, pneumococci and E . coli are cefazolin, penicillin, penicillin, and kanamycin respectively.
