A Case of Tuberculosis of Myocardium Including S-A Node

Abstract

A 19-year-old female with miliary tuberculosis was presented with dyspnea and intractable tachycardia. Hospital course was complicated with systemic thromboembolism and heart failure due to intractable tachycardia. Autopsy findings showed tuberculous pericarditis with involvement of myocardium and S-A node. Tuberculous involvement of S-A node and myocardium seemed to be responsible for intractable tachycardia in this patient.
