A Case of Both Menisci Tear of Left Knee

Abstract

A case of left sided both menisci tear is reported with a brief review of the literature. The case was 18 years old female basket-baller who complained marked swelling, tenderness and clicking over the medial and lateral aspects of the joint line and limited motion of the left knee joint for 5 months after injury. McMurray's test was strong positive on both side and the diagnosis was confirmed by operation. Few reports have been available so far in this country on both menisci tear.
