Clinical Study of Osteoid Osteoma: Report of Seven Cases

Abstract

Seven cases of Osteoid Osteoma were treated at Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Seoul National University from Jan. 1962 to Apr. 1974 with following results: 1) Six cases were found in third decade. 2) Duration of disease from onset was 16 months. 3) Locations of lesions were predominantly in lower exrtemities, three in tibia and two in femur. 4) Night pain was noted in all cases and aspirin effected in six cases. 5) iduses were located at intracortical in five cases and extracortical in two. 6) All cases were treated by radical excision of lesions with disappearance of pain and satisfactory results.
