Three Cases of Fracture of the Capitellum Hemeri

Abstract

Three cases with a shearing fracture of the Capitellum Humeri were treated with different methods in Orthopedie Department of B.N.U.H. between April to June, 1974. The Result of immediate excision of fragment was satisfactory, compared with that of patient treated by manipulative reduction or open reduction with Kirschner wire fixation. The possible pathogenesis, result of treatment and previous literatures are discussed and reviewed.
