A Case Report of Congenital Pseudoarthrosis of the Clavicle

Abstract

The congenital pseudoarthrosis of the clavicle is a rare condltion but exists as a cllnlcal entity distinguished frorn cranio-cleido-dysostosis and birth fracture. A 6-day old female was accidently found to have an anomaly of the right clavicle, which was discovered on an X-ray taken for another reason. She was followed for 4 weeks and a diagnosis of congenital pseudoarthrosis of the clavicle have was made. We report the case, comparing it with a birth fracture together with review of the literature.
