Percutaneous insertion of kimray-greenfield vena cava filter: case report

Abstract

Transvenous placement of vena vacal filtration devices has become more effective alternative in the managementof patients in whom anticoagulation is contraindicated or thromboembolism recurs despite anticoagulation.Percutaneous transjugular placement of the Kimaray-Green field filter in the suprarenal in ferior vana cava was successfully accomplished in 34-year-old female patient wtih recurrent pulmonary embolism, who had suffered from bilateral deep vein thrombosis.
