Puerperal ovarian vein thrombosis: A case report

Abstract

Puerperal ovarian vein thrombophlebitis(POVT) is a postpartum complication that requires prompt medical treatment to avoid extension of thrombus with potentially life-threatening complications. The prompt noninvasive diagnosing method is CT that defines the locating and the extent about the thrombus. There findings well supply future cases to be definitly diagnossed and treated wtihout invasive procedures.
