Penetrating chest injury excluding heart

Abstract

Through roentgenological evaluation of 23 cases of the penetrating chest injuries, we obtained the followingresults. The most frequent age was 20's in male. The chief complaints on admission was dyspnea and the frequentsite of injury was the left chest wall. The main radiological findings were hemo-pneumothorax, lung contusion, andhematoma formation.
