Diverticulosis of the vermiform appendix is one of the rare diseases. Recently we experienced a case of diverticulosis of vermiform appendix presented with cecal diverticulitis. Resection including terminal ileum and cecum was done and pathology revealed cecal diverticulitis with appendiceal diverticulosis. So, we report a case of appendiceal diverticulosis presented with cecal diverticulitis in regard to its rarity and proper managernent with literature review.
