Abstract

Basal cell carcinoma is the most common malignant skin cancer in Korea. The lesions are most frequently found in the head and neck region. But penile basal cell carcinoma is very rare and there are only 29 other reported cases. We report a rare case of basal cell carcinoma of the penis in a 76-year-old man. He had a well circumscribed 1.3cmx1.3cm thick scaly plaque with central ulcer in right penile root area for 4 years. The lesion was completely excised and no recurrence for four months.
