Abstract

Osseous metaplasia of the uterus is a rare entity that results from the transformation of non-osseous connective tissue into mature bone. Endometrial osseous metaplasia is frequently associated with a history of recurrent abortions, and its clinical presentation may include infertility, habitual abortion, vaginal bleeding, leukorrhea and pelvic pain. We have recently experienced a case of endometrial osseous metaplasia, which is presented with a brief review of the literatures.
