Cycloplegic Refraction in Esotropic Children: Cydopentolate versus Atropine

Abstract

Cycloplegic refraction with 1% cyclopentolate and I % atropine was performed in esotropic children younger than 6 years. The purpose of this study was to find clinical factors related with differencs in refractive changes between cyclopentolate and atropine Additionally, the periodic refractive changes at the first, second and third day during performing traditional atropinization were evaluated.
