Abstract

Molluscum contagiosum is a common, benign, viral infection of the skin and mucous membranes that generally affects children. Melanocytic nevus is a collection of nevomelanocytes in the epidermis or dermis. These two diseases are not related in terms of pathophysiology, but there have been a few cases of combined cases. We report a case of a 64-year-old female patient with a skin-colored nodule on her upper eyelid, which turned out a combined lesion of mollusucm contagiosum and melanocytic nevus by histopathologic examination.
