Abstract

The author has studied on the technique of renal microangiography for nephrectomized kidneys of dog as the first step of study on renal microangiography using materials and instruments which were obtained easily at hand. The results were as follows: For better and clear pictures of microangiography; 1. As for the X-rays source, Picker 200 X-rays unit was better than that of Grenz-rays although the latter could emit softer rays than the former. 2. As for the contrast medium. Micropaque (50% barium sulfate) was better than 10% silver nitrate because the latter had corosive action leading to extravasation of the contrast medium. 3. Rendol added by restraining agent was better than Rendol alone as for developing solution. Fuji X-ray films were used as X-ray film.
