Abstract

Three cases of carcinoma of the prostate under the age of 50 years are reported with a review of the literatures. All of them were diagnosed pathologically as having undifferentiated, infiltrating carcinoma of the prostate. Two had huge masses palpable on the suprapubic region which were found to be originated from the prostate, and another had an enlarged, hard and nodular prostate. Surgical removal of the carcinomatous prostate failed in two cases and only biopsy was attempted in one. All were discharged on estrogen only, estrogen plus orchiectomy and estrogen plus cobalt-60 irradiation, respectively.
