Abstract

Persistent impotence after shunt procedures presents a challenging clinical problem. It is not clear whether the shunt should be ligated in those patients even though the ligation is generally belived to be effective. A case is reported who became potent completely without ligation of sapheno-cavernous shunt which was persistently patent for 28 months after the second attack of priapism.
