Xanthogranulomatous Pyelonephritis: A Case Report and Review of the Literature

Abstract
- Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis is an atypical form of severe chronic renal parenchymal infection and usually occurs in associated with urinary tract infection, obstruction and/or calculi. Herein we report a case of xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis in a 26 years old male, which was cured completely by partial nephrectomy.
