Arterioportal Venous Shunting in Cavernous Hemangioma in Liver: A Case Report

Abstract

We experienced a case of small cavernous hemangioma with arterioportal venous shunt in the liver. Ultrasonography showed hypoechoic mass and computed tomography revealed persistent contrast enhancement into equilibrium phase. Angiography demonstrated contrast pooling on arterial phase and early arterioportal venous shunting which was confirmed surgically.
