Abstract

We are reporting a case of sudden onset of anuria after febrile episodes in 29 year old female. The uremic condition was corrected with emergency nephrostomy. The aberrant vessels were found over the ureteropelvic junction and severe inflammatory adhesions with hydronephrosis was also noted. Further urological study and renal angiography revealed congenital solitary kidney. Secondary operation was performed with Foley Y-V pyeloplasty, ureterolysis and removal of aberrant renal vessel. The post operative course was uneventful and the patient was discharged on 15th post operative day.
