A case of Malignant Melanoma of the Iris

Abstract

A case of malignant melanoma of the iris is reported. The patient was 26 years old at the time of consultation. The first consulation was made about one month after accidental recognition by himself. Iridectomy was done on the 12th admission day. The cell type was spindle A in Callender's method. About half year's follow up discovered no sign of recurrence. He can see 20/25 on Landolt's ring, with iris contact lens on.
