Abstract

Family medicine residency training has expanded quantitatively and qualitatively since the initial settlement period. If various efforts to improve the quality of family medicine residency training continue, such as portfolio development to confirm the competency growth of a resident, development of faculty training guidance for competency-oriented evaluation and feedback, and development of guidelines, a training course will be established. It will be easier to produce competent primary care physicians with all the core competencies of family medicine.
