Abstract

Stress fractures are rare in the upper limb. Hartley (1943) stated that stress fractures occured as rarities in the humerus in javelin, discus and grenade throwers, and had been reported in the ulna in diggers. A few reference to these can be traced. 2 cases of stress fracture of the humerus were experienced and they are now reported.
