Hand-Schuller-Christian Disease: A Case Report

Abstract

The basic pathological similarity of Eosinophilic granuloma, Hand-Schiiller-Christian disease was stressed in 1953 by Lichtenstein who suggested the term HISTIOCYTOSIS X. This case showed marked clinical improvement with therapy of massive dosage of prednisolone. multivitamin, and penicillin, though it seemed that strict further scrutiny was mandatory for the multiple bony defects remained.
