A case repost of osteopetrosis

Abstract

The condition called osteopetrosis by Karshner (1926) was described by Alber-schonberg (1904) on basis of of radiographic appearence and likened the bone to mable and also known as osteosclerosis, chalk bone. Osteopetrosis is a rare condition, there beining less then 200 cases reported in the literature and rare heriditary, congenital and familial abnormalities in bone growth. Although recongnizable cases of the osteopetrosis have been describeed since 18th century under a variety of names, this accurate pathological mechanism are still unknown.
