Spinal Cord Injury Followign Electrical Accidents : Case Reports

Abstract

As the industry have been developed more and more, we get more opportunities to contact with electricity. Accordingly the risk of the electrical accident has been increased gradually. In general, the electrical injuries involve the extremities and result in amputation or severe disability of limbs. Spinal cord injury following electrical accidents is extremely rare. Now 3 case histories of the patients with electrical injury to the spinal cord without fracture or dislocation of vertebra are herein presented and discussed with regard to previous reports.
