Primitive neuroectodermal tumor; CT findings

Abstract

Primitive neuroectodermal tumor is a neoplasm of young individuals that occures predominantly in thesupratentorial compartment. Authors experienced three cases of primitive neuroectodrermal tumor. On the brain CTscans, all three cases reveal the large, irregular, hyperdensse mass lesions with calcifications and cystic ornecrotic areas, and show dense heterogeneous contrast enhancement.
