Abstract

Sclerosing hemangioma of the lung is rare in the pulmonary parenchyme, known as a post inflammatory pseudotumor of the lung. We report a case of histologically proven sclerosing hemangioma of the lung in 51-years-old woman with intermittent coughing, blood-tinged sputum and chest discomfort. There was a 5x6cm sized, well circumscribed, round mass with air meniscus shadow in left lower lobe on chest radiograph. CT findings were alarge lobulated, homogeneous soft tissue mass with multiple scattered small calcifications in the lower lobe ofthe left lung. A surrounding air shadow was noted around the mass. The calcications noted in CT were not visualized in radiograph.
