Hypersensitivitiy Pneumonitis Induced by the Spore of Lentinus Edodes

Abstract

Two mushroom workers cultivating Lentinus edodes indoor, whose chief complain were dyspea, were diagnosed as hypersensitivity pneumonitis by its spore. They showed the positive reaction to intradermal test with spore antigen, and also classic manifestations to antigen inhalation test such as fever, leukocytosis, and restrictive pattern on pulmonary function test.
