Management of Hearing Aids Clinic

Abstract

Hearing loss is a common problem that impacts quality of life for the patient, family members, and caretakers. Population with a significant hearing loss is increasing due to growing older population and new-born hearing screening. Unfortunately, hearing loss is often undiagnosed and untreated. This article summarizes the procedure of hearing aids fitting for those whom with hearing loss, which that can be implemented into an otologic practice. In detail, candidacy, counseling and selection of hearing aids, fitting and verification and finally, validation using questionnaire are reviewed.
