Abstract

Mango (Mangifera indica) induces the allergic contact dermatitis, when its sap or surface contacts to the skin. We report a case of 27 year-old female patient who complained of eczematous rash and blister around the lips after mango ingestion. Close patch test was performed to confirm allergic contact dermatitis to mango, with cashew nut and peanut. Positive skin reaction was observed after 96 hours only to mango compare to cashew nut and peanut.
