Abstract

Intracranial hypotension associated with postural headache resulting from low CSF pressure can occur spontaneously. CSF leakage is suggested as one of its causes. We report herewith a case of spontaneous intracranial hypotension which was diagnosed with direct sign of CSF leakage by early dynamic radionuclide cisternography in a 33-year-old woman presented with severe orthostatic headache. To our knowledge, only a few cases have been reported thus far, in which CSF leakage was directly confirmed by radionuclide cisternography.
