Abstract

An osteochondral lesion of the talus is a disease that occurs at the articular cartilage and subchondral bone of the ankle joint. Osteochondral lesions are common in children and adolescents. The osteochondral lesion is closely associated with sports injury. The epidemiological characteristics of medial and lateral lesions are different. The authors present a special case with concomitant medial and lateral osteochondral lesions of the talus. This paper reports this case with a review of the relevant literature.
